Young Child
4 1/2 years to 7 years
YOUNG CHILD is a sequential
learning experience that acquaints children with many music concepts. Moving, listening, singing, playing, note
reading and writing, and instrument play effectively prepare for a
life-long love of music and music making.
Focus is on process, not performance with a pressure-free approach to
learning. Throughout the curriculum
there is a consistent effort to balance active learning with emotional reasoning
aspects of a young child's development. Grown-ups join the last 15 minutes of class.
